CPT John Chambers, originally from Grosse Ile, MI, graduated as a distinguished cadet from the United States Military Academy in 2006 with a B.S. In Civil Engineering. As an Engineer Officer, he served at Fort Bragg, NC and Fort Leonard Wood, MO. With the 82nd Airborne, he deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom as part of the Surge in 2007 and to Haiti for Operation Unified Response in 2010. He commanded a Route Clearance Company in the 5th Engineer Battalion and the US Army’s Sapper Leader Course.
CPT Chambers is currently a Masters in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School. He has a follow on assignment teaching American Politics, Policy, and Strategy in the Social Sciences Department at West Point. He also holds an M.S. In Engineering Management and is a certified Project Management Professional.
